Tech has changed the travel industry for good

The world’s travelers say mobile devices are as vital for travel as for other aspects of their life. The desire for new technologies, such as voice search, e-payment and digital room keys, to simplify and enhance their travel experience is increasing. 

It’s clear from our survey that in 2018, technology has turned travel into a home-from-home experience, as we remain connected to the platforms, apps and sources of information we use at home during our trip.

77% travelers would provide biometric data to improve experience

Over 10 billion air search transactions each month. 

Over 2.9 million unique travel routes. 

69% of surveyed people used voice search while planning their trip.
